Prussia was...intrigued by Romana's suggestion. It had started out an interesting little squabble where she accused him of being boring in bed. He, of course, objected to it being insinuated that he was unawesome in such an important way, and argued about it. Until the suggestion of "spicing things up" came about. And Romana's idea of spicing things up was quite unexpected.

He never thought she'd suggest a kink party.

But like hell if he was going to reject such a delightful idea. Especially not when the way she asked was so damn cute (at least in his warped Prussian mind).

"Ready yet, Spatzi~?"

God, women take so long to get ready. He was very eager to get going. Unsurprisingly.

[Rosalinde considered herself lucky that the date of her anniversary was in early June. It meant the weather was usually fantastic, and this year was no exception. It was an excellent day for a picnic with Sándor, such a lovely way to spend an afternoon. Once they'd finished lunch, she had brought along her violin and began to play. Liszt's Consolation in D flat major had always been one of her favorites, and it felt like a natural choice at the moment. She hadn't even needed to think before slipping into the song. It was no coincidence that her choice was by a Hungarian composer, of course. On this day, Hungary always held a permanent presence in her mind. Even after centuries of knowing him, he still had her heart utterly captivated, enough so that their anniversary turned her into a romantic like this.]

Gilbert went through the day absolutely giddy and dying to get home. Both Ludwig and Angela Merkel were getting rather irritated with his near constant soft laughter and manic grinning, but he didn't care. Anna had promised him a ~surprise~ when he got home, and Anna's surprises were always the best. Of course they were, since she was also Prussia and therefore the only person who was allowed to claim to be as awesome as he is.

Finally, finally all of the work that he was expected to do was done, and he was permitted to go home (or more like his brother and boss couldn't take it anymore and kicked him out, but that is but a minor detail). As soon as he arrived home, he burst through the front door, eager to see what the other Prussia had planned.

"Anna, I'm hoooooooome~ What's the surprise? Is it ready yet?"

He wasn't known for patience.

It had been a long day that day at World Academy, and Rosalinde Edelstein was quite thankful to be in the last class of the day. On top of that, it was orchestra class, her favorite. It was unfair, though, how orchestra seemed to fly by. All her other classes had dragged something fierce today. Math classes were never her thing, so of course calculus dragged. English and German were both far too easy, as was history. Art appreciation had a bad teacher that made her want to grind her teeth (she refrained from it, of course. So improper.) She hated the fact that physical education classes were required and that class was always one in which her eyes were glued to the clock. As much as Rosalinde was a model student who took education seriously, sometimes it was hard to not be bored to death by her classes.

Well, except orchestra, forever her favorite. Class had come to an end, though, and she set to putting her violin away.

((This is a ghetto continuation post of the Austria's birthday log on the original herrbox on LJ, since we're too cheap to import the comm right now while importing is paid accounts only. It's just a copypaste of the original post, then the last tag underneath that, kay?))

October 26th. Hungary had circled the date on her calendar in red pen and starred it; it was an important date, after all.

It was Austria's birthday.

Despite any protest about expenses that he may make, Hungary always wants to do something special for him every year. This year she has a few things in mind. Her alarm goes off and she springs out of bed, shutting it off immediately in order to not wake him; he's still fast asleep next to her.

She'd been staying with him in Vienna for the past week. Though they live apart, they do like to stay over with each other every so often, and Hungary had figured it'd make birthday preparations easier once many years ago, and ever since then has been staying with him for two weeks over that date. This year is no exception.

She sits at the edge of the bed and watches him sleep for a moment. He's so cute like that, completely defenseless and vulnerable, his hair still messed up from the previous night. She leans down and presses a light kiss to his head.

"Boldog Születésnapot"

She whispers softly before getting up, stretching, and getting dressed. Once dressed, she makes her way downstairs to cook a quick breakfast and begin preparation on part of what she has planned for her lover's birthday; Sachertorte.
